Hi, this the man of the hour, Synciear (also known as Syn), speaking. Coming to you with a much needed update about myself, the blog and its content.
Now, to those who are new to this website… hell, even the people who aren’t new to this website, I have to inform you of something, if it isnt already obvious. I haven’t neccesarily been the best at managing the content on here. Not because I don’t want you guys here or anything crazy like that. But like everyone else in the world, things in my personal life tend to get out of hand, and I have to turn my attention to that. Unfortunately, that has caused me to miss chances of updating my website and supplying you guys with the content I promised in my last post (which was soooo long ago). I’ll be taking this day to explain what I’ll be doing moving forward and what I hope to fully bring to this website.
First things first, the website you see before you, will not be and is not, the final product. I’ve been doing a little revamping here and there. In the future, look out for more expansions to be made all over, specifically in the menu at the top of the site. Right now the categories have nothing in them of course, but that’ll change in the future. Each category will present different content that I hope to slowly integrate into my website.
- Short stories
- Poems
- Small writing series
- Random thoughts and feelings that I like to expand on
- Even things that you guys want
There’s so much I want to do but at the same time, I don’t want you guys to be too overwhelmed or myself, for that matter. Just keep in mind, this site won’t be the same as it is now.
Secondly, I’ll talk about content sharing, social media platforms and posting dates.
- Content Sharing – I expressed this in my last post (again, a long time ago), that I wanted to use this website to not only showcase my content, but other aspiring content creators as well. So, there might be times when I post someone else’s work, specifically people that I know of. But I encourage anyone who wants me to post a friends writing piece, poetry, artwork or even your own work, simply contact me through the sites contact link. That brings me to the social media platforms.
- Social Media Platforms – In the future, I plan to make a bunch of social media outlets for this site. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. When that happens, they’ll be used to promote new work coming to the site, showing content exclusively for those social media sites, sharing content, and connecting with the readers, whoever they may be. Right now, the site is connected to one of my personal emails. That will also change once I get around to making an email, specifically for the website.
- Posting Dates – Now, lastly and the most important is, posting dates. What this means is, when I can really focus on the website and supply it with the promised content you deserve, I’ll be giving a heads-up on when posts will hit the site. My preferred post day is still every other Saturday. If for some reason in the future I can’t post on the specific day, I will inform you guys via the social media platforms. I’ll also use the platforms to notify you of posts before they drop and the same day they drop. That’ll work through subscriptions, all free until more things come into play and I decide to offer exclusive content to paid subscriptions but, that’s for when we get to that point.
That’s about the gist of things so far. And I would like to add that, hopefully I’ll be making a comeback at some time in 2022, depending on how things go in my personal life and I’m finally able to bunker down. If all goes according to plan, you guys will here from me a lot more often.
One last thing before I go. For now, I’ll post a new writing piece, and poem, for you guys in the random thoughts and midnight poems categories on the website, after this. Be sure to check those out. And most importantly, if you like what you read, leave a like, share it with your friends and family, share it to other sites. Even if you don’t like it, still share it. Refer more people to the site and so forth, it’ll encourage me to do more. Just make sure you give credit to yours truly for the work, no bragging intended. Until we meet again, stay safe and stay creative!
Nothing but love, yours truly, Syn.
